1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FreelanceFilter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FreelanceFilter is an AI-powered job discovery and notification tool that helps freelancers find relevant opportunities on platforms like Upwork. We aggregate publicly available job listings and provide filtering, analysis, and notification features.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Payments and Subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for every subscription. When you subscribe, your order is a sale by Dodo Payments, which acts as the authorised reseller of FreelanceFilter. Dodo Payments handles the payment and is responsible for collecting and remitting any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are.
• The Service itself is operated by the business named in section 10, and your use of it is governed by these Terms.
• “Dodo Payments” is what appears on your card or bank statement, not “FreelanceFilter”. We never receive or store your card details.
• Prices are shown in US dollars. Any sales tax or VAT that applies in your jurisdiction is calculated and added by Dodo Payments at checkout, and shown to you before you confirm payment.
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you have already paid for.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FreelanceFilter and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that job listings are accurate, complete, or current. We are not affiliated with Upwork or any other job platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreelanceFilter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Who You Are Contracting With

Two parties are involved, and it is worth being precise about which does what.

Subscriptions are sold by: Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. Dodo Payments is the legal seller on every transaction, processes the payment, and collects and remits the applicable tax. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Dodo Payments’ own terms, which you accept at checkout.
