Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

FreelanceFilter ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in various ways:

  • Account Information: Email address and account preferences when you sign up.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our service, including search filters and preferences.
  • Device Information: Browser type, IP address, and device identifiers for analytics.

2a. Analytics and Session Recording

On this marketing website we run two third-party measurement tools. We name them, and what they store, rather than describing them as "analytics" and leaving you to guess:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) — measures page views and referral sources. It sets first-party cookies in the _ga and _ga_* family, typically retained for up to two years, and processes a truncated IP address.
  • Contentsquare — records how visitors move through pages (clicks, scrolls, mouse movement) so we can find broken layouts and confusing sections. It sets first-party cookies in the _cs_* family. We do not use it to identify individuals.

On this website both tools load only in production — never on local or preview builds. The signed-in dashboard runs the same two tools. Neither is involved in the job-collection or webhook-delivery pipeline. We currently show no cookie consent banner; if you would rather not be measured, block these two domains in your browser or use its tracking-protection setting. You can also ask us to delete any data tied to you at the contact address below.
